Ancestors of Berlie Jane BLANKS

Meet my Ancestors. We are Lumbees of Robeson County, NC. I still have a lot of blank spaces that I would like to fill. This has been a very interesting experience. I have learn a lot about my people and their history. Some facts I don't understand or have answers for. One, my great grandfather, on my maternal side, changed his surname and that of his children. And later changed his first name. He married as a SANTEE and later changed to CANADY. I have been working on this for about 10 years. You can see from these records that there were cousins who married cousins. As you will see, I have 3 lines back to Hardy Bell. If you can connect or add to my family; Drop me a line.
