Adolphus was the son of
Jesse Evans (photo) and Caroline Anderson (photo).
He served in Company E 30th Ala Inf during
the Civil War. The 30th was  a galant unit and returned only
100 men of its original 700.
Adolphus is also Tom Allred's mother's uncle.
What a handsome man!  I wonder what color
his eyes were? LOL
