This is just a collection of the other websites that I currently maintain.
Hopefully you will find something of interest here and will take the time
to look around. Most of the other groups I am envolved with are always in
need of "volunteers" in one way or another and maybe you'll find something
that appeals to you. These "projects" are all interested in the same thing,
collecting and providing genealogical information to researchers, historians
and family genealogist. The main goal is the support and promotion of "free"
genealogy.
I really can't get away without "plugging" more for the USGenWeb
Project and the OKlahoma and Missouri GenWeb Projects as well as The American
History And Genealogy Project and the American Local History Network. To
find out more about the USGenWeb Project, you can click on the logo above
or, just click right HERE. All
of the "logos" on this page are links so just click on them to find out
more. If you're just starting your research, one of the best places to start is the archives. Check out the USGenWeb Archive Project. You can find your county of choice there. If you're researching Oklahoma the OkGenWeb Archives , have excellent material. Here you'll find some other helpful OKGenWeb Resources. To find an Oklahoma county, the best place to go is to the OKGenWeb County Index. Here you'll find the clickable link to the county you want. And, click here to Locate A Town in Oklahoma. I wish you all the best of luck in your research and I hope these links will be a little help anyway.
