Col. Frederick Hambright
Col. Frederick
Hambright was born on 17 May 1727 in Germany and died on 9 March 1817
in York Co, SC. He immigrated to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
on the ship Andrew in 1738. He fought the Indians in 1771, and
also served in the Revolutionary War. He is buried in Old
Shiloh Presbytherian Church Cemetery, Cleveland Co, NC, with the
following inscription:
"Adieu to all both far and near
My
loving wife and children dear
For my immortal soul is fled
I
must be numbered with the dead."
A
monument later erected bears another inscription.
Frederick Hambright married Sarah Hardin in VA in abt 1755. Sarah Hardin was born in 1730 in VA and died before 1780, during the Revolutionary War.

the Revolutionary War. He is buried in the Hambright Cemetery
in McMinn Co, TN.

1787 in Lincoln Co, NC. He was buried in Shiloh Cemetery.
