Thomas Brooks
Thomas Brooks was born about 1815 in NC. He served as a Private in the Civil War. He enlisted on 4 Oct 1861 in the 33rd NC Regiment, Company D. He was captured and died a prisoner of war in Elmira NY on 24 Dec 1864. He is buried in Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira, NY.
Thomas married Martha Brewer. Martha was born in about 1818 in NC and died after 1880.

Billings on 5 Jan 1882.

Nancy Jane Brooks was born in 1850 in Wilkes, NC and died before 1892.
She
married William Simon Curry. He was born in 12 Apr 1846 in Wilkes, NC
and died 22 Oct 1932. He is buried at Antioch Baptist Church
Cemetery, Wilkesboro, Wilkes, NC. He also married Peggie Louisa
Unknown. Peggie was born 8 Dec 1846 and died 25 Nov 1931.
She is buried with William.

married Nancy C. Billings on 1 Nov 1877.

Apr 1897 in NC. He was born in Jan 1862 in NC and died 7 June 1923 of
Tuberculosis in New Life, Walnut Grove, Wilkes, NC. He is buried
at Walnut Grove Church Cemetery. Calvin also married Alva Waddell.
