Funeral services were held Friday at Eureka for Jacob L. Klein,
82, pioneer resident of Eureka, who passed away at the hospital after a
brief illness. He was born in Gluecksthal, South Russia in December 1860
and there was married to Christina Wittmayer, who came with him to McPherson
county in South Dakota. In 1912, she passed away and some years later he
was married to Mrs. John Dupper. He is survived by five children, seven
having preceded him in death. The surviving children are: Mrs. Henry Bader,
Wishek, N.D.; Mrs. Wm. Rohrbach and Theodore Klein, of Eureka; Mrs. August
Lutz, Selby; and Jacob, in the army, stationed at Camp Hahn, Calif.
