Follett FreesiteWilliam Follett - of Dover, NH (1600's) |

The following information has not been integrated to my WorldConnect Follett gedcom file, because I have not yet been able to make a tie-in connection for that gedcom. However, it seems very likely there may be a connection between the William Follett/Elizabeth Matthews family of New Hampshire and the early Folletts listed on my gedcom. I am very interested in learning whether there is a relationship to Robert William Follett of Salem (who married Persis Black). The father of Robert William Follett is still uncertain, but it may be William Follett (listed as born about 1607 in N.H. or 1617 in Devon, England) or John Follett (born about 1605, in Devon, England). It is also possible that there was a William Follett, brother of John Follett, and that John Follett may yet be the true father of Robert William Follett of Salem. Sorry, but I can't resist going back and forth on whether his Daddy could be William or John !!!! Anyone with clarifying info verified by good sources, please email me!
