(a) The family tree lettering system distinguishes between the various sections of the BURGUM (or BURGHAM) family trees.
(b) The AA family tree originated from Flaxley and Littledean, in the Forest of Dean, later moving to Bristol and Bolton (Lancashire). Later the family moved to East London (West Ham), before spreading around England. One section (formerly the "EE" family tree) are from the Manchester area. Another section of the family lives in Brazil.

(It was created many years ago when I first began my research). The various family trees are designated "AA", "BB", "DD", etc.
There is no "CC" family tree, for example, because it was found to connect to the larger "FF" family tree.
