Also, it's reasonable to think that Charles Digby & Ivy were friendly with her because Charles Anthony Levitt Sharman can remember visiting Swansea as a child and this is where Dorothy and her husband lived. She died Bronchopneumonia on 31 Jan 1983 in Victoria Hospital, Blackpool, Lancashire.³³ She died in 1983.⁷

Dorothy SHARMAN and Charles William MAKINSON were married on 19 Oct 1921 in Bispham Parish Church, Bispham, Lancashire.³³ Charles William MAKINSON was born on 4 Mar 1888 in 7 Ladies Lane, Hindley, Lancashire.³³ He died Stroke on 7 Aug 1950 in Longmeadow, Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire.³³ He was a Captain in the Army Veterinary Corps.³³ Dorothy SHARMAN and Charles William MAKINSON had the following children:
