"For the past five and a half years I have been collecting links to online census data in the form of Federal Censuses, State Censuses, Tax Lists, Directories, Voters Lists, etc., and posting them on my web site: The site now has nearly 7500 links. If you find any links that are omitted or broken, please notify me and I will add/update them as soon as possible.        Thanks!    Mark Reed      webmaster@census-online.com  "

Ellis Island help

I found these sites somewhat helpful in using Ellis ISland:

http://www.rootdig.com/immigrate/1906.html
and
http://www.rootdig.com/immigrate/1914manifest.html

The first one is a little better as it discusses partial names and using ethnicity to help narrow your results. I Found one of my "lost" people this way, but have one more I'm still hoping to find. Maybe he came over on a UFO--it's one of my in-laws so that might explain quite a bit :).
