His son Andrew (1883-1987) lived his entire life in NW Missouri.

J.C.'s sons: Wilton (1936-1991) -Married Neva Rosbrugh, had 2 daughters Marcia, a Public Relations Executive, and Melinda a school teacher, and a son Max who is in construction. Wilton was a land appraiser, and entrepreneur. John - Married Helen Gossett. and they have 2 sons, Craig is a Coast Guard Officer, and David is in Civil Service. John had a career as an Army Officer and in Civil Service in Combat Developments.
The surrounding area where the Bennetts lived in NW Missouri is known as Empire Prairie.
For over a hundred years the Bennett family attended the Star Chapel Methodist Church.
