The Family and Descendants of Robert MILLER of Roane Co., TN and Beyond
This site is a work in progress on the Robert Miller family of Roane Co., TN. Robert's origins are clouded, but it is apparent that he was born east of the Appalachians, as he reports his birth place there in various census reports. Part of the descendants were farmers, others apparently miners. Several fought in the Civil War. While I don't know much details about this family, it is my hope that this listing will spur responses from descendants wishing to add to and/or correct inaccuracies. Such communications are invited.
