Little Berry Thompson was born in 1780 to Amos Thompson and Martha "Patsy" Strother. He married a person whose name is unknown, and they had one child, Zelphy Thompson.

     Little Berry then married Patience (last name is unknown) some time prior to 1805 and had the following children:

9. Richard Samuel Thompson - (1821 - 1849)
