There are many motels and hotels in Traverse City and the surrounding area. There is also a State park on US 31 (see map near the label "Route from Kalkaska, etc."). Make your lodging reservations early because this is peak tourist season.

A number of nice family restaurants and fast food spots line US 31, particularly East of the college. There are many of our families who live within easy driving distance of Traverse City. Contact Mary Grindol if you have a room to share or need a room.

Vollyball, Basketball, and horseshoes facilities are at Kings Court. Be ready for family fun!

Should you wish to stay over, weather permitting during the summer, Sunday church services are generally sponsored by the Central United Methodist Church are held at Sunset park on Front Street (next to the Holiday Inn - see map) at 9 a.m. There is also a service at the church at 222 Tenth Street at 11 a.m.
