	Married Elizabeth Moore (b. 1788 in Orangeburg Dist., S.C.)
	Married in 1806 in Sumter
	They had the following children:

		Darrell b. 1814
		Drew b. 1816
		Mary Marzilla b. 1818
		William Patrick b. 1821
	Allen and Darrell married sisters. Allen married Cynthia Eveline Welch and Darrell married Sarah Susan Welch.

	(3)Darrell Valentine b. 1814 in Orangeburg Dist. ,South Carolina, and died
	between 1855-1859.
	Married Sarah Susan Welch (b. Sept 8 1819 Wayne, Miss.) daughter of Bryant Welch & Sabra Martin .Sarah died April 27 1904 in Jones, Miss. She was buried in Sringhill Baptist Ch. Cem., Jones Co., Miss.
	They had the following children:

		William Patrick b. 1843
		Sarah A. b. abt. 1846-47,
		Columbus Marion b. abt. 1847 -48
		Margaret C. b. 1852
		James H. b. 1852
		Mary Jane b. 1855
		Martin b. 1838
	In the 1850 census Sarah and Columbus were both listed as age 3 years. They may be twins.

	(4)James Harrison Valentine b. 1852 d. 1919 in Shreveport, Louisiana at
	Highland Hospital. Buried in Pelican Cemetery, Pelican, Louisiana.
	Married Sarah Elizabeth Davis in 1875 in Jones Co., Miss. She was born
	Sept 7, 1856 and died March 16, 1900. She is also buried in Pelican Cem.
	They had two children:
		Anis Idelle "Della"
		William Melvin b. April 1876 in Jones, Miss.

	(5) Anis Idele "Della" Valentine b. June 18, 1881 in Laurel, Miss. She died
	April 7, 1951 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery
	in Converse, Louisiana.
	Married Wilber Franklin Jackson on 7-17-1905 in Many, Louisiana. Wilber was born Oct 15, 1881 in Converse, La. (Son of John Franklin Jackson and Harriett Lucinda Henry). He died Sept. 3 1930 in Mansfield, Louisiana and is also buried in Oak Grove Cem. in Converse, La.

		Bernice
	(Vernice and Bernice were twins)
