Sara Alice Smith, 67, of Cordova, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 at her residence.

She was a homemaker and a member of Hope Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held Saturday at Friendship Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Bedwell officiating.
The family will receive visitors at 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Donald K. Smith and wife, Melissa, of Cordova; a sister, Pattye Starrett of Tiptonville; and two brothers, the Rev. Jimmy Bedwell of Pinson and Terry Bedwell of Bainbridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac Smith; and her parents, James Carter Bedwell and Mildred Williams Bedwell.

Sara Alice Bedwell and Mac Donald Smith had the following children:
