Whose is it? "My great great grandmother was Rebeka Emily Beningfield b. 13 Sep 1862 d. 2 sep 1905. She was married to John Henry Willis. At least two of her sisters married two of Johns brothers so there were many double cousins. I believe Rebekas father was John Beningfield. As far as I know, they lived in Kentucky. The Willis' migrated to KY from Tenn." ___________________________________________________________________ Steve submits this query, although he isn't a subscriber. Can any- one help him? "I'm looking for BENEFIELD, Daniel Webster, Father of Joseph E. Benefield. Joseph was b in 1896 in Monroe LA. Also looking for Daniel Webster Benefield JR." ___________________________________________________________________ Dor is planning a trip to England and sends this request: "Am planning to go to ENGLAND next June on a genealogical family trip with the CRAVEN family, some of whom will be arriving at Heathrow airport from many US cities. I plan to also look up the BEDDINGFIELD names while there. Do you know any city names I can begin the search?" ___________________________________________________________________ Wanda makes this offer: "I don't have any records on Bedingfield but will be glad to send my records on Stinnett and Brackeen. John Gaines Brackeen was my Great Grandfather that was in the civil war and knew the Bedingfields. John married Mary and William md Josephine. " Does anybody have Brackeens in their file? ___________________________________________________________________ Here's a hint from a researcher who isn't a member but HAS encountered our ancestors: "Dear Thressa, Look for your beddingfields in Surry/Brunswick and Sussex Counties, Virginia. I don't have a line, but I have papers with Nathaniel Beddingfield's signature on them." ___________________________________________________________________ And here are some URLs for you. Check 'em out--you might find a cousin!
