Since I started this site, lots of census information has become available on CD-ROM and lots of lookups are available. If you're a member of a family history society, they can give you the details and I expect the LDS (Mormons) can too. Probably also your favourite magazine, unless like me you're too tight-fisted to buy them.
This is some information that was collected 'the hard way', from microfilms etc, mostly by Anthea Ashfield. It is mainly 1881, with assorted bits and pieces from other sources and dates.
The information has been on the site for a while, but the path to it was somewhat obscure. Information is in two groups. First is a set of links to alphabetical county indexes. Then follows an assortment of entries from various years in various formats
The 1881 census has no Bebbs for:
Anglesey, Caernarvonshire and Carmarthenshire, Guernsey, Isle of
Man, Jersey or in the Miscellaneous sections.
