Cemeteries

Included among the four cemeteries, located within the boundaries of Antwerp, are: Bangs, Maple Grove, Oak Grove, and Harwick. Note that Maple Grove and Oak Grove are further located within the villages of Mattawan and Lawton respectively.

Harwick cemetery, the first of the four to include an index within this page is thought to be located on, or very near what was once referred to as the "Old Van Antwerp Burying Grounds," as their land descriptions ("straddling" sections 10 & 15, that is) are entirely consistent with one another. Moreover, a number of Antwerp pioneering families have been at rest here for over 150 years.
