[21 Aug 2001—Please be aware that this information may be incorrect, since it matches fairly closely information, which I obtained from another Loomis family researcher, who based much of his research on the ancestry of the White family on a book entitled Ancestors and Descendants of Capt. John White.  At some point in time this book appears to have been at the LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake City, since the reference to it included a call number GS #929.273 W582 wb, which is similar to those of other books about the White surname at that library with the exception of the last two letters, which appear to refer to the name of the compiler or author.  When I checked the Mormon Library online catalog, however, I discovered it is no longer there, or at least the title is not listed on the online catalog, and also I have been unable to locate another copy of a book with the same title at any other large genealogical library which has an online catalog, such as the Library of Congress, the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana; the Denver Public Library; the Newberry Library in Chicago; the Sutro Library (California State Library) in San Francisco; or the Clayton Genealogical Public Library in Houston. As a result, even though I have left this on my web site, please view this lineage to the royal families of Europe as unproven.
