Leila Mae Rigsby - born 24 Jan. 1919 - dies 14 April 2005. She is buried in the Rock Springs Baptist Church graveyard in Elmore Co., Ala. She married Walter S. Singleton in 1933. They had 2 children Walter C. Singleton and Alice Mae ( Singleton ) Loomis. She had 5 grandchildren , 14 great-grandchildren ; 3 great-great-great - grandchildren.

I don't know much about uncle Walters people but they were from the Rock Springs area in Elmore Co. Ala. where Aunt Mae lived. He died sometime in the 80's.

William James Rigsby - born 24 Oct 1915 . in Elmore Co., Ala. He married Gladys Ester McKee on 14 Oct 1941 in Washington DC. They have 2 adopted children , Mark McKee Rigsby born 13 Jan 1953, and Martha Rigsby born 29 Jan 1955.

Robert Allen Rigsby - born 1906 - dies July 1976. He is buried in the Rock Springs Baptist Church graveyard. His wife is Geneva Virginia Gaither ( born on 11 March 1905 and dies 17 June 1962 ) She is also buried in the Rock Springs graveyard. Her parents are Emma Jane Melton and Thomas Eli Gaither. Her maternal grandfather is Billy Melton . Her paternal grandparents are Ellen Taunton and Henry Gaither. Her paternal great -grandfather is Tobe ( This name is not proven . I think that it is a nickname). Taunton. The Gaithers lived near Carvall Damn in Elmore Co., Ala. Robert and Geneva had 6 children . Mae Jane Rigsby ( Kirkland ), Betty Jo Rigsby ( Mask) , Caroline Rigsby ( Smalley) , William E. Rigsby, Ethan Glenn Rigsby and James Thomas Rigsby. Four are still alive.

I will get uncle Roberts exact dates from Glenn.
