Gracias to Leo Marshall Scruggs Jr. for answering a Scruggs Message Board Query. He has added several pictures to this page. He has opened doors to the Slack branch. Leo Marshall Scruggs Sr. has provided several pictures and has related many experiences.

Merci beaucoup to Hazel Marie Marks. A rare opportunity to meet her was missed following the Eighth Annual Scruggs Family Association Reunion in Clarksville, IN. Hazel 's research over many years, has added to the basic knowledge of the various tracing backwards and forwards from B. F. Scruggs. She has provided proof of lineage on many shady trails.

CROWDER

Morice Crowder of Springdale, AR formerly from Oregon gets a big "Thanks" for shedding light on the Crowder family. He also shared pictures and documents that have proven invaluable.

Patricia Yaw has broken down a very high brick wall with the Crowders. This branch added several generations by way of her very thorough research.

FLOCK

Thank you Lois Ann Flock Sharp of St. Francis, KS for sharing information and pictures of the Flock branch. Her timely sharing of information helped to sort out relationships.

Much obliged to F. Verne Flock of Idaho. He sent a huge packet of information broadening the Flock Branches of this tree.

BAUER

Ken Bauer of Minnesota, has shared the information that he has found on the Bauer line. It is greatly appreciated.

SLACK

Etta Reidof North Carolina has shared so many documents and pictures from the Slacks and related persons. She deserves a round of applause as does her Cousin, Mary Folkof Oklahoma as they have worked many years to amass the large Slack file.

Sue Maxwell and Herb Tohlen have added many important pieces of information. Their work is greatly appreciated.
