Sometime before July of 1997, Estella May Miller and Robert Bascom Scruggs were divorced. Bascom then married Mattie A. Wilcox in Castle Rock, CO. on 13 Jul 1897. Bascom and Mattie had two children. Hazel Cornelia Scruggs and Frank Scruggs. As adults, both Hazel and Frank moved to areas around Portland, OR.
