These Flocks were gathered in Maywood, NE in the spacious yard of Merton and Clara Flock. Since Erma appears to be about 18, the year must have been 1927 or so. Erma is wearing a black dress standing 3rd person from the right of the picture. Veda, her cousin, is at the far left. Merton can be seen just behind and to the right of Erma. Erma and Veda were very good friends while growing up in Maywood, NE. Their Mothers made matching dresses one year telling each child that the dress was for her cousin. Eventually they were given their gifts. The two girls wore their precious matching dresses everywhere they could until they both outgrew them.
