Note regarding identity of #2: The identity of #1’s father is (to this researcher) at present unknown. It would appear from the available sources that #3 was a single mother whose maiden name was Altmire. She was listed as a daughter (not daughter-in-law) of Agnes (Novitski) (Altmire) Beale in the latter’s obituary (see link under #7 above), and in 14 Jun 1960 she appears as “Miss L. Arlene Altmire” in the Indiana Evening Gazette (Indiana, PA) (section 2 p. 1).
