NOTE concerning #7:

There is some confusion as to which wife of #6 was the mother of #3.  He married Josephine Hubbard in 1881, and she died 22 March 1886.  He married second, 1 January 1889, Mrs. Mary (Goddard) Este.  Most sources give the mother of #3 as Josephine Hubbard, but one source (see under #3 above) says that #3’s grandfather was Kingston Goddard.  The birth date of #3 would determine which lady was her mother, but there is some confusion with regard to that as well.  The following sources give her the following birth dates:

It would appear from the bulk of the evidence that #7 was #6’s first wife, Josephine Hubbard, and that the correct birth date of #3 is 15 Mar 1886 (the later dates of birth being the result of either mistakes or vanity).
