He was re-elected overseer of the poor in 1904 (NJC March 10 , 1904); he had moved to Toms River, into the S.F. Irons house, in February of 1902. His daughter married a Ray Parker from El Paso, Texas, and gave him a grand daughter named Dorothy Elizabeth Parker, who in turn married Thomas L. Gullikson of El Paso on October 21, 1920.
In March, 1905 he bought the Applegate house on West Water Street. That same month, he was advertising for sale three incubators in the Courier.
As of 11 May 1905, he was building a home on West Water Street.
