Second Generation

6. John A. Heaton was born on 10 Apr 1855 in Georgia.  He died on 15 Jun 1922
in Blue Ridge, Fannin County, Georgia at age 67.  He was buried at
Toccoa Cemetery in Fannin County, Georgia.

John married Rachel June Craig, daughter of William Wiley Craig and Mary
Emaline Reynolds, on 28 Sep 1884 in Blue Ridge, Fannin County, Georgia.  Rachel was born on
12 Jun 1862 in Georgia.  She died on 29 Nov 1937 in Blue Ridge, Fannin County,
Georgia at age 75.  She was buried at Toccoa Cemetery
in Fannin County, Georgia.

The child from this marriage was:

     9    F     i.
 Myrtle Bell Heaton was born on 18 Aug 1893.  She died on 13 Jun 1990 in McCaysville, Fannin County,
   Georgia at age 96.  She was buried at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery in Fannin County, Georgia.
   
   Note:  On the 1900 U. S. Census for Fannin County, Georgia she is listed as Myrtle Wilson,
   adopted daughter of John and Rachel Heaton. 



Third Generation

Myrtle Heaton was born on 18 Aug 1893.  She died on 13 Jun 1990 in McCaysville,
Fannin County, Georgia at age 96.  She was buried at Lebanon
Baptist Church Cemetery in Fannin County, Georgia.

Myrtle married
Jasper Lee Thomas Sr.,
son of Jehu Mercer
Thomas and Flora Angeline Watson, on 2 Sep 1913 in Blue Ridge, Fannin County,
Georgia.  Jasper was born on 28 Nov 1888 in Georgia.  He died on 9 Oct 1975 in Akron,
Summit County, Ohio at age 86.  He was buried at Lebanon
Baptist Church Cemetery in Fannin County, Georgia.
 

Note:  Myrtle Heaton was the adopted daughter of John and Rachel Heaton.  She is listed as
Myrtle Wilson on the 1900 U. S. Census.  No information is known of her biological parents.
