First Generation

1. Josiah Bowman was born on 14 Jul 1809 in Tennessee.  He died on 9 Feb 1881
in Calhoun, Gordon County, Georgia at age 71.  He was buried at
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Calhoun, Georgia.

Josiah married Fanny Dillard, daughter of John Dillard Jr. and Rhoda Lee.
Fanny was born on 15 Nov 1815 in Knox County, Kentucky.  She died on 17 Oct 1899
 in Calhoun, Gordon County, Georgia at age 83.  She was buried
at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Calhoun, Georgia.

2    F     i.	Margaret J. Bowman was born about 1832 in Tennessee.
3   M      ii.	Cornelius Bowman was born on 21 May 1834 in Tennessee.  He died after 1900 in Georgia.
	He is buried in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Gordon County, Georgia.
4    M    iii.	William E. Bowman was born about 1839 in Tennessee.
5    F    iv.	Charlotte Bowman was born about 8 Mar 1840 in Tennessee.  She died 4 Feb 1926 in
	Gordon County, Georgia.  Charlotte is buried at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery in
	Gordon County, Georgia.
	Charlotte married Adolphus Taylor before 1860.  Adolphus was born about 1835 in North
	Carolina.  He died in South Carolina in 1862 of pneumonia while serving in the Civil War.
	Adolphus has a tombstone in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Gordon County,
	Georgia.  It is not known whether he is actually buried there or if this is a memorial tombstone.
6    M     v.	Elijah Bowman was born about 1844 in Georgia.
7    F     vi.	Mary A. Bowman was born in 1847 in Georgia.
8    F     vii.	Lucinda China Bowman was born on 2 Apr 1851 in Georgia.  She died on 21 Mar 1921 in
	Calhoun, Gordon County, Georgia at age 69.  She was buried at New Prospect Cemetery
	in Calhoun, Georgia.
9   F    viii.	Sarah Elizabeth Bowman was born about 1856.

 
Second Generation

2. Cornelius Bowman was born on 21 May 1834 in Tennessee. 
He died after 1900.  He is buried in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery
in Gordon County, Georgia.

Cornelius married Mary Ann Nesbit, daughter of James S. Nesbit and Celia White,
on 25 Oct 1866 in Gordon County, Georgia.  Mary was born in 1842
in York District, South Carolina.  She died between
1873 and 1879 in Gordon County, Georgia.

10    F     i.	Celia Maude Bowman was born on 16 Jul 1867 in Gordon County, Georgia.  She died on 2 Mar
	1963 in Canton, Cherokee County, Georgia at age 95.  She was buried at Talona Baptist Church
	in Gilmer County, Georgia.
11    F    ii.	Levada Bowman was born 27 Mar 1874 in Gordon County, Georgia.  She died on 16 Oct 1898
	in Gilmer County, Georgia.  She is buried in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Gilmer County,
	Georgia.
	Levada was married to Miles Ansel Wilson.  Ansel was born 23 July 1871 in Georgia.  He died on
	30 May 1955 in Cullman County, Alabama.  He is buried in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery in Cullman
	County, Alabama.  Ancel next married Sarah Frances Holmes.  Sarah was born on 13 Apr 1874
	in Alabama.  She died 25 Dec 1937 in Cullman County, Alabama.  She is buried beside her husband
	Ancel at Enon Baptist Church in Cullman County, Alabama.

Cornelius next married Lucinda Anglin on 8 Feb 1879 in Gordon County,
Georgia.  Lucinda was born about 1834.

 
Third Generation
10. Celia Maude Bowman was born on 16 Jul 1867 in Gordon County, Georgia.  She died on 2 Mar 1963
in Canton, Cherokee County, Georgia at age 95.  She was buried 
at Talona Baptist Church in Gilmer County, Georgia.

Celia married William H. Charles, son of William Charles and Sarah Ray, on
8 Apr 1887 in Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia.  William was born on 30
Oct 1851 in Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia.  He died on 19 Feb 1930 in
Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia at age 78.  He was buried at
Talona Baptist Church in Gilmer County, Georgia.
