NOTES FROM BETTY:
Based on the following information it is my firm belief that James William Bobo is the person referred to as "Bill Dugan" Bobo.
1. As per Mitch Vetuski "Bill Dugan" Bobo was born c 1874 and James William Bobo was born July 25, 1875.
2. James William Bobo was born in Texas
3. Six Bobo men with the name William in their names died in Texas from 1944 to 1974 and they were:
a. William W Bobo who died in Dallas Co 2/1/73 however according to the SSDI he was born 18 July 1884
b. William Alfred Bobo died in Tarrant County 2/20/64 however according to the SSDI he was born 9 Apr 1909
c. William Richard Bobo died 2/1/45 in Cass Co Texas however according to the 1900 Census he was born Mar 1872 in Cass Co Tx and was the son of J W Bobo and Permelia Bobo according to census records.
d. William J Bobo Sr died 5/18/1974 in Bexar Co. Tx and according to the SSDI he was born 9 Jan 1900.
e. James Williams Bobo died 12/24/51 in Kaufman Co Tx This James Williams Bobo was living in Kaufman Co in the 1930 census.
f. James William Bobo born July 25 1875 and died 12 April 1957 was shown as living in Tarrant County 47 years in his death certificate.
4. The 1930 Tarrant Co census record shows Arinda Bobo as being divorced and living with three of her sons.
5. A person by the name of Wm Bobo was shown living with Nettie Bobo at 902 Calhoun in Houston Tx in the 1928 Houston City Directory and his occupation is listed as carpenter which is the same occupation he had when he was listed in the Ft Worth City Directory for the years 1926 and 1927.
6. The first grandson of James William Bobo states that James William made trips to Houston to visit a person called "Aunt Nettie" by his father Samuel Edward Bobo. He also made trips out west to Lubbock to visit other relatives.
7. The obituary of his brother Thomas Nathaniel Bobo states that his brother "Bill" Bobo lives in Fort Worth Texas. Thomas Nathaniel Bobo also stated in his conversation with Mitch Vetuski that he didn't have anything to do with is older siblings as they were too rough.
8. James William Bobo married his wife Arinda Whisenant in Ranger, Erath Co, Texas which is close to Brown County where his mother Martha "Mattie" Elizabeth Barrett Bobo Morton was living with her second husband Albert Morton.
