The Fulford family is descended from John Fulford and his wife Elizabeth Gray, who were married in Downton, Wilts. on 16 October 1803.  One of the witnesses at the ceremony was Robert Fulford.  This could have been John's father, but might have been a sibling.

Unfortunately, I cannot find a record of a birth of a John Fulford around 1779 in Downton so I have been unable to trace this family any further back.  Click on any underlined name to find out more about that person.
