The Gaiger family is descended from William Gaiger, a school master who lived in Winchester, and Sarah Hall who married in Winchester on 23 June  1808.  I can find no trace of a birth for William in the IGI, but Sarah was the daughter of William Hall and christened on 19 February 1788 in St. Maurice, Winchester, Hants. 
The Gaiger surname has completely died out in this tree.  Thanks are due to Joanne Dawson for her help in finding the siblings of Sarah Gaiger.
