Hello. I'm cuban, 60 years old, and I know that the father of my great-great-grandmother was named Robert G. Barlow with English nacionality, married with Maria Luisa Limbaugh American nacionality and they came from Georgia (USA) and lived in Cuba until he died in August, 1830. I'm not sure about his second surname (his mother's surname)but it appears similar to Gibson
o something like that. I was trying to find his name through Ancestry but I couldn't find him in this period of time. I know the place/area where they used to live in Havana, Cuba, and it would be very interesting for my family to confirm that he was one of our ancestor in order to complete our genealogy tree. Please, if you don't know, I would appreciate the email address of other person that can assists me.

I would love to one day soon add my Barlow Family webpage on your site. but, I need information on my gggrandfather, John Barlow, born on 06 March 1842 in Demerara, British Guyana to English parents: John Barlow and Leonor Jones.

Where do I go to find additional information?
Were his parents missionaries perhaps?
Is there a site that lists names of passengers from England to British Guyana?
