MARRIAGE INDEX
There are discrepancies between the records of Johnson County, Illinois Statewide Marriage Index and recorded family history. Especially with the Kuykendall family due to various spellings of surnames and given names. Parents were identified on copies of original records in my possession. Transcribed and online marriage records did not identify parents. The parents listed in some of the records were matched from Civil War Records, Bible Records, Biographies and knowledge of family history. Some of the marriage records from IGI were Patron Submissions and Temple Records. Please use as a guide and verify for your records. In some cases, bride and groom are listed under each surname. Included a few unrelated marriage records I found early in my research. Perhaps they will help other researchers.
