ELIZABETH NORMAN.

Charlotte was first married at the very young age of 14years
to HERBERT SPENCER, on 3rd Aug 1845, Tasmania. After the
death of Henry she had a defacto relationship with JOHN
MAKER a stonemason and had a child with him. Another
relationship was formed with a JAMES WILSON MAKER. Then on
the 21st September 1857 Charlotte married WILLIAM WINTLE at
Castlemaine Victoria.

Ann": Henry arrived in Tasmania as a free single man on
15th August 1833 aboard the ship "Mary Ann".
Shipping Arrival "Borneo"
Charlotte's father Edward was a convict, he was charged
with stealing and sentenced to 7years transportation to
Tasmania. Charlotte, her mother and siblings came to
Tasmania aboard the ship "Borneo" on 8th Oct 1828
.

Deaths: Henry
Edward Maker died 22 Apr 1914 as a result of being struck by
a taxi in City Road South Melbourne. He died intestate
leaving an estate of
£ 33:
2: 3 most of which was cash. He had just turned 76 years. At
the time of his death he was widowed and living with his
granddaughter and her husband. (Information
