 Patrick Maguire c.1820 & Ann Fay

Patrick Maguire married Ann Fay this couple were both born about the 1820's. They were the parents of my great great grandmother Margaret Ann Lynch nee Maguire who was born 27th August 1840 at Blackstep County Cavan Ireland. Margaret Ann married Patrick Lynch and emigrated to Australia in 1862. The Maguires were tenant farmers living at Blackstep not far from Seefin where the Lynch family were also farmers. The two families would have faced the same hard conditions of life back in those early times including trying to survive during the tough times of the Irish potato famine.
