Indenture made this twenty Eighth day of February in
the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and ninety three
Between John
Eager Howard of Baltimore County Gentleman of the one part and Peter
Banckard
of the Town of Baltimore butcher of the other part Witnesseth that the
said
John Eager Howard for and in Consideration of the sum of Sixty Pound
Current
money to him in hand paid by the said Peter Bankard the receipt whereof
the
said John Eager Howard Doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith to
be
fully Satisfied and paid Hath Granted bargained Sold aliened Enfeoffed
and
Confirmed and by these presents Doth Grant bargain Sell enfeoff alien
and
Confirm unto the said Peter Banckard his heirs and assigns all that
piece or
parcel of Ground lying and being in Howards late addition to Baltimore
Town
which is Contained within the following metes and bounds Courses and
distances
to wit Beginning for the same on Conway Street and on the north side
thereof
and at the distance of Ninety nine feet East from Howard Street and
running
thence East binding on Conway street thirty three feet thence north
parallel
with Howard Street to Brandy Alley thence west binding on said alley
thirty
three feet thence south parallel with Howard Street to the beginning
Together
with all Buildings Improvements advantages and Emoluments to the said
piece or
parcel of Grand and Premises belonging or in any wise appertaining and

reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents Issues and
Profits of
in and to the said piece of Ground and Premises and every part thereof To Have and To Hold the said piece or parcel
of Ground and Premises with all and Every of the appurtenances unto him

said Peter Banckard his heirs and assigns for ever to the only use and

intent use or purpose whatever and the said John Eager Howard for
himself his
heirs and assigns doth Covenant and agree to and with the said Peter
Banckard

Indenture made the Twenty eighth day of June in the
year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and six Between Peter Bankard of the
City of
Baltimore of the one part and John Leinhart Siglar of the same place of
the
other part WITNESSETH that WHEREAS a certain Phillip Clapdore and Jacob
Clapdore of Baltimore County by their Indenture of lease bearing date
on or
about the twelfth day of July in the year Eighteen hundred and three
duly
executed and recorded among the land records of Baltimore in Liber W G
No. 76
folio 620 did grant bargain sell assign transfer and set over unto the
said
Peter Bankard his heirs executors administrators and assigns all that
part of a
tract of land called Davids Fancy situate lying and being in Baltimore
County
and contained within the following metes bounds Courses and distances
to wit
Beginning at the south west corner of the land leased to Jno
Martin
in July seventeen hundred and seventy nine and running South six
degrees east
eighteen perches and half a perch to a stone standing on the east side
of the
road leading to the Ferry Point thence north eighty two degrees east
twenty six
perches to a stone standing on the west side of Back street thence
north six
degrees west Eighteen perches and half a perch to the end of the third

the whole lot of land leased by Jno Moale to Jno

same being situate on Conway Street and particularly by courses and
distances
described in said Indenture together with the buildings and
appurtenances
thereunto belonging and all the estate right title interest term of
years to
come property claim and demand whatsoever either at law or in equity of
them
the said Grantors or either of them or which was in the said Peter
Bankard at
the time of his death therein or thereto TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said
described
pieces or parcels of ground and premises with the appurtenances unto
the said
Owen Dorsey his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever In
trust
nevertheless for the uses and purposes following that is to say that he
the
said Owen Dorsey his heirs executors administrators or assigns shall
have full
power and lawful authority after giving public notice in any two of the
Baltimore newspapers to set up and expose to public sale on the
premises on the
tenth day of May next or at any time within ten days thereafter the
said pieces
or parcels of ground and premises or any part thereof and the same to
sell to
the highest bidder or bidders one half of the purchase money to be paid
in cash
and the residue on a credit of six months the purchaser giving notes
with
interest with an approved endorser and the same pieces of ground and
premises
to convey and assign to the purchaser or purchasers thereof his her or
their
heirs executors administrators and assigns as the case may be and the
amount of
the purchase money to receive and the same after deducting expences and
a
commission of five p cent for his trouble and the trouble of the
administratrix
of Peter Bankards estate is to be distributed and applied as follows to
wit one
third part thereof to be applied and paid to Lovace Bankard the widow
of the
deceased her executors administrators or assigns one eighth part of the
remaining
two thirds to be paid to said Catherine Weishample her executors
administrators
and assigns one other eighth part of the remaining two thirds to be
paid to the
said Peter Bankhard his executors administrators or assigns one other
eighth
part of the remaining two thirds to be paid to the said Jacob Bankard
his
executors administrators or assigns one other eighth part of the
remaining two
thirds to be paid and applied to the use of the said Motelena Purpur
independant of any controul of the said Charles Purpur and to be for
her
exclusive use and benefit and to be disposed of by her by will or
otherwise in
any manner she may think fit and in case of her death without disposing
of the
same then the same to be paid and applied to the use and benefit of her
children and one other eighth part of the remaining two thirds of the
money to
be paid and applied to the said Lovace Sensener and to be for her
seperate use
and benefit and to be disposed of by her in any manner she may think
fit by
will or otherwise and in case of her death without disposing of the
same then
to be applied to the use of her legal representatives one other eighth
part of
the remaining two thirds to be paid and applied one half part thereof
to the
said John L Zigler his executors administrators or assigns and the
other half
part thereof to his wife the said Barbara for her exclusive benefit in
the same
manner as is mentioned with respect to Motelena Purpur one other eighth
part of
the remaining two thirds of the money to be paid to the said Peter
Tesch and
Mary his wife to be paid and divided between them in the same manner as
mentioned with respect to Zigler & wife and as to the other eighth
part of
the remaining two thirds the same to be applied in such manner and for
such
purposes as the Orphans Court of Baltimore County shall direct In

WHEREAS
Owen Dorsey the trustee named in the within deed did
in pursuance of the authority in him thereby vested set up and sell at
public
auction on the tenth day of May instant the whole of the pieces or
parcels of
ground and premises mentioned in the within deed that is to say one
portion
thereof to John Lanehart Zigler for the sum of forty one hundred
dollars one
other potion thereof to William Wilson for thirty fur hundred and fifty
dollars
and one other portion thereof to Peter Bankard Junior for the sum of
five
hundred and eighty dollars Now Know al men by these presents that we
the
undersigned and each of us do hereby ratify and confirm the sales made
by the
said Owen Dorsey and do hereby severally acknowledge to have received
of him
our respective portions of the purchase money or amount of sales of
said
property and we do hereby for ourselves our heirs executors and
administrators
respectively release acquit exonerate and discharge the said Owen
Dorsey his
heirs executors and administrators of and from all & every action
suit
claim and demand which we or either of us our or either of our heirs

This Indenture made the seventeenth day of May eighteen hundred and eleven Between Owen Dorsey of the county of Baltimore County of the one part and John Lanehart Zigler of the same county of the other part WHEREAS the said Owen Dorsey in pursuance of the authority in him vested by a deed of trust to him executed by Lovace Bankard and others bearing date the fifth day of March last past did on the tenth day of May instant after giving due public notice set up and sell to the said John Lanehart Zigler at public auction in several parcels the following described piece or parcel of ground situate in the city of Baltimore that is to say all that piece or parcel of ground the same being part of the ground leased by John Eager Howard to Peter Bankard by Indenture of lease bearing date the fourteenth day of May seventeen hundred and ninety four and recorded among the land records of Baltimore County Court in Liber WG No 00 folio 310 &c Also part of the ground conveyed by the said John Eager Howard to the said Peter Bankard by deed bearing date the twenty eighth day of February seventeen hundred and ninety three and recorded among the records aforesaid in Liber WG No LL folio 307 also part of the ground assigned by Christopher Banker to the said Peter Bankard by Indenture bearing date the sixteenth day of January seventeen hundred and eighty six and recorded among the records aforesaid in Liber WG No Y folio 219 &c which piece of ground so sold is contained within the following metes and bounds to wit BEGINNING for the same on the north side of Conway Street at the distance of sixty six feet east from the north east corner or intersection of Conway and Howard Streets and running thence east binding on Conway Street sixty eight feet nine inches or thereabout to the center of an alley three feet eleven inches in width thence north parallel with Howard Street in a line with the centre of said alley seventy five feet thence west parallel with Conway Street two feet nine inches or thereabout to the ground conveyed in fee to the said Peter Bankard by the deed from the said Howard as aforesaid thence north binding thereon to that part thereof conveyed by said Bankard to Leonard Foreman thence west binding thereon thirty three feet or thereabout to the piece of ground leased to said Peter Bankard by John Eager Howard as aforesaid thence north binding thereon seven feet or thereabout to that part of the said ground this day assigned by the said Owen Dorsey to Peter Bankard Junior thence west binding on said part thirty three feet and thence with a straight line to the BEGINNING TOGETHER with the buildings and appurtenances thereunto belonging and also the priviledge of building over the said three feet eleven inches alley which alley is to be for the mutual benefit and advantages of both houses thereto adjoining and all the estate right title interest property claim and demand which was in the parties executing the deed aforesaid therein or thereto for which said premises the said John Lanehart Zigler gave and has paid the sum of forty one hundred dollars Now this Indenture WITNESSETH that the said Owen Dorsey in pursuance of the authority in him vested and in consideration of the said sum of forty one hundred Dollars to him paid by the said John Lanehart Zigler at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold assigned transferred and conveyed and by these presents Doth grant bargain sell assign release and convey unto the said John Lanehart Zigler his heirs executors administrators and assigns all and singular the said described piece or parcel of ground and premises sold to the said Zigler as aforesaid with the buildings priviledges and appurtenances thereunto belonging and all the estate right title interest and claim of the said Owen Dorsey therein or thereto TO HAVE AND TO HOLD such part of the said described piece ------- of ground and premises as is in fee Simple unto the said John Lanehart Zigler his heirs and assigns forever to his and their only use and benefit and TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the remaining part of the said described piece or parcel of ground and premises with the appurtenances unto the said John Lanehart Zigler his executors administrators and assigns for and during all the rest residue and remainder of the term of years therein yet to come and unexpired by virtue of the original leases with the benefit of renewal forever in as full large ample and beneficial manner to all intents and purposes whatsoever as he the said Owen Dorsey might or could have held and enjoyed the same Subject nevertheless to the payment of the yearly rent of one cent In Witness whereof the said Owen Dorsey hath hereto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written.

Young and Elizabeth Young his wife or their heirs or assigns into the said demised premises or any part thereof in the name of the whole to reenter and the same to have again repossess Occupy and enjoy as in his or their former Estate until all such arrearages of rent with legal Interest therefor and all and every cost charge and expence incurred by the said Joseph Young & Elizabeth Young his
