I was born on a cold February night in 1990 at the very same hospital that my mother was born in. My dad was there filming the whole thing. I woke up to a world filled with bright lights and a lot of noise and I wanted nothing better than to go back to sleep. But somehow I knew that I wouldn't get much more sleep this day - not with everyone playing with my fingers and toes. Not to even mention a bunch of "other" crying babies all around me. But then finally the lights got turned down and things got quieter and I was able to take a little nap.

Those first couple of months went by so quick. There were strange people coming over all the time and I was getting used to being the center of attention all the time. Then one day I got some different kind of presents - I was getting pretty baskets. They said it was Easter. I got a new outfit, but then I was always getting new clothes.

What fun this was. I was told that this was getting a bath - but it was just plain old "funtime" for me. I could tell you that I was in the bathtub with my dad, but then you would probably have to arrest him.

This was probably my first real "party" day. I was wearing the most beautiful dress in the world and there was so much of it! We all went to church and the Minister spashed some water on me. Just enough to scare me. Everybody I knew came over to my house that day and brought me even more presents. This is my Grandma & Grandpa Walters holding me. Her name is Christine and thats my middle name.. Cool...

I have survived my first year and it has been the best time. I'm probably the happiest little girl in town. Lots of things going on at my house all the time and I have lots of company. I've learned to say a few words and I've learned to walk. Believe me that was a tough job. I was falling down a lot, but I think I got it now. AND - best of all - today I had another party. All of family and friends came over.

These parties are great days for me, there were presents everywhere and I was smiling all day long. I guess you have noticed by now that I have some really cool red hair, now I wonder where that came from? I look at my mom and dad and they don't have red hair. I look at my grandparents and they don't have red hair....Hmmm.. Then somebody explained to me that I did have some Irish ancestors and a great grandpa that also had red hair.

Can you believe I'm two years old already? Neither can I. Its been another year full of fun and "wow" the things I can do now! I can run really fast - and I think I know about a hundred words which I try really hard to use every day.. and my favorite food is Apple Juice. I have great fun at the baby-sitters, with friends to play with all day. I can't believe all the interesting things that I'm finding to do all the time and not enough time to do them all. I've like to play dolls, and I like to color in my books. I have lots of games and books to read.

Bet you can't guess what I am for Halloween this year! This was the first year that I really understood what Halloween was. This is the time of year that you can pretend to be anybody or anything you want to be. I wanted to be a Hershey Kiss this year and it was fun - but awfully itchy and hot inside this thing. I got so much candy this year that mom tried to hide it from me. But guess what? I found it. That bag was filled with all sorts of good things to eat.

Now this is a picture of the "perfect little lady" if I ever saw one. It took me awhile to get this one right but with practice I was able to pull it off. I have to admit that at this point of my life "dresses" were my favorite clothes. I used to change about four or five times a day. Sometimes I tried to wear all the dresses in my closet in one day - but I never managed to do it. I had way to many! I decided very early in life that "Purple" was my favorite color.

Little did I know that my perfect world was about to change. In October of 1993 along came my little brother! This is me and my grandma with 'Brian' and I'm holding my baby doll that was really bigger than Brian was! Now what was I going to do with this little creature?

Here I am at Four and a half years old. I'm still having fun and I'm still laughing. Brian is big enough to play with now and the household is back in order. I'm going to Pre-School and have lots of friends to play with. I can count and even read! I know my A B C's perfectly. I can ride a bike (with no hands) and I can go to the corner by myself. I help with the dishes and I play with Brian (when I have to). I got a feeling that this "big sister" stuff is going to become a real job!
