William Lightle was the son of James & Mariah (Julian) Lightle, the grandson of James & Jane (Bartlett) Lytle.
William married Ellen Husband 3 January 1858 in Pike Co IL. Ellen was the daughter of Jonathan & Mary Ann (Wade) Husband born 5 April 1813 in England.
William died 19 May 1916, Ellen died 14 March 1903, both are buried at Bethel Cemetery in Pike Co Illinois.
They were the parents of 12 children all of whom are pictured above except for Charles William, Mary Jane and George who died in infancy.
