 In the Name of God Amen. I William Kesterson Senr of the County of Greene & state of Tennessee being weak in body but of sound and perfect memory blessed be God for the same calling to remembrance the uncertainty of this life and the certainty of death and being desirous so to order and dispose of what Estate God and his mercy has been pleased to bless me with do make, constitute and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form as follows ( that is to say) Imprimis I give and bequeath my precious and immortal Soul to God who gave it and as to what worldly Estate God has been pleased to bless me with my will and meaning is that it be so ordered and disposed of as by this my will and Testament is hereafter mentioned all my just debts and funeral expenses being first paid. Item - I give and bequeath unto my Grand Son Henry Kesterson all my land & improvements whereon I Now live containing Eighty Acres it being the Same more or less so long as he may live thereon but in case he leaves the land and does not live thereon my will and desire is that my son Wm Kesterson shall have it to dispose of as he may think proper.
Item - I give and bequeath unto my Grand daughter Nancy Kesterson the daughter of William Kesterson fifteen dollars to be paid out of Moveable property the balance of my Estate not already mentioned, my will and desire is that it be sold and equally divided between my Sons John Kesterson, Wm. Kesterson, and my daughter Nancy Bowlin finely I do constitute, appoint and ordain my son Wm. Kesterson my Whole Sole Executor of this my last will and Testament and it is my will and desire that he be not compelled to give Security for the faithful administration of the Same in Witness where unto I have set my hand and seal this 5th day of April, 1819.
