Belton, Texas - Mrs. Katherine Allen, 79, of Belton, formerly of Fayetteville, N.C., died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005, in Temple Hospital. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker. Services: Memorial, 4 p.m. Monday in Foundation Methodist Church. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton.

Survived by: Sons, Larry Cash and Michael; daughter, Donna Ingram; lifelong friend and companion, Lawrence Driver; brother, Paul Kesterson; and three grandchildren.

Belton - Memorial services for Katherine Allen, 79, will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the Foundation Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Buchele officiating. Mrs. Allen died Feb. 18, 2005, at a Temple hospital. She was born Sept. 26, 1925, in Staunton, Va., the daughter of Bruce and Susan Elizabeth Hess Kesterson. Mrs. Allen was a military wife, a homemaker and a gardener. She moved to Belton in 1995 from Fayetteville, N.C.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Cash of Staunton and Michael Allen of Lexington, S.C.; a daughter, Donna Ingram of Belton; a brother, Paul Kesterson of Covington, Va.; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Allen Jr. in 1979. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
