ST. PAUL, Va. – Norma Gertrude Kesterson, 81, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, in Indian Path Medical Center, Kingsport, Tenn. She was born in Wise County, Va., daughter of the late Hoge Milton and Mary Kate Giezzler Beavers. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kesterson. She is survived by one son, Bert Patsel of St. Paul, Va.; special cousin, Harold C. Hileman of St. Paul; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Norma Gertrude Kesterson will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with the Rev. Harold Shortridge and the Rev. Hubert Winebarger officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. Pallbearers will be Carl Beavers, Billy Rose, Chad Jacobs, Mike C. Phillips, Steve Roten and Harold Johnson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood.
