Mrs. Kathy Kesterson, age 55, of Vandervoort, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at her home. She was born February 24, 1952 in DeQueen, Arkansas to the late Ovan Sharp and the late Marietta White Sharp. She was united in marriage to Clovis Kesterson in Poteau, Oklahoma on December 17, 1974. Kathy worked at the Polk County Courthouse for many years as well as working the farm she and Clovis had built. She was a loving homemaker, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Her vitality and spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by: Husband: Clovis Kesterson of the home Brother: Roger Sharp of Wickes, Arkansas Sister: Mary Page and husband Leon of Cove, Arkansas Brothers-in law: Basil Kesterson and wife Penny of Wickes, Arkansas Joe Kesterson and wife Christine of Wickes, Arkansas Jeff Kesterson of Gillham, Arkansas Very special friend: Ruthie Holomshek of Mena, Arkansas Many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ovan and Marietta Sharp and her daughter, Marietta Michelle Kesterson. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cove Revival Center with Brother Reggi Fryar officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Kathy's Mother & Father are also interred in the Polk County, Cove. AR Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
