OBITUARY: Herman H. Kesterson, 67, died at he Clinton County Hospital March 15, 1950 at 3:15 o'clock. He was a retired farmer, and had been in ill health for the past 13 months. Mr. Kesterson was born in Iroquois, Illinois on March 28, 1882. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Kesterson. He married Fannie Spray in 1904, and she preceded him in death in 1930. Survivors include two sons, Everett of Frankfort and Barnard of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Findley of Chicago and Mrs. Hester Lucas of Frankfort; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Carman and Mrs. Mattie Stine, both of Frankfort and a brother; Frank Kesterson of Forest.

OBITUARY: Everett E. "Red" Kesterson, 90, Frankfort, died Sept. 22, 2007, in St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Mr. Kesterson graduated from Jackson Township schools. He farmed and worked several years for the former Indiana Brass Company. He was discharged as a tech sergeant from the United States Army, serving from 1941 to 1946. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Jefferson Masonic Lodge Vesta No. 136, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite and attended Jefferson United Methodist Church. He was born July 1, 1917, in Jackson Township to Herman and Fannie Spray Kesterson. He married Esther L. Grove on Dec. 7, 1943, in Frankfort, and she survives. Other survivors include their three children, Jimmie (Elaine) of Lafayette, Michael (Susan) of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Robin E. (Blaine) Butler of Frankfort; six grandchildren, Bryan, Brenda, B. Bryant Jr., Kimberly, Angela and Erin; and six great-grandchildren, Shay, Lane, Erika, Riley, Larissa and Shelby. He will be greatly missed by family and close friend Leroy Good. Two sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.

Esther L. Kesterson, 88, of Frankfort, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at her residence. She was born in Rankin, Il. to James and Edna Sweet Grove. On Dec. 7, 1943, she married Everett E. Kesterson in Frankfort, Indiana. He preceded her in death Sept. 22, 2007. Surviving are her children, Jimmie Kesterson (Elaine) of Lafayette; Michael Kesterson (Susan) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and Robin E. Butler (Blaine) of Frankfort; a brother, Dick Grove (Helen) of Frankfort; 6 grandchildren, Bryan, Brenda, B. Bryant Jr., Kimberly, Angela and Erin and 8 great-grandchildren, Shay, Lane, Erika, Riley, Larissa, Shelby, Nikki and Lauren.
