Nellie was born November 21, 1909 in Beaver, Okla. the daughter of Samuel and Ethel (Whipple) Hull. She passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the age of 98. Nellie was a graduate of the class of 1927 in Gage, Okla. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and canning. Surviving Nellie are her husband, Russell Kesterson of Salt Lake City, Utah; her children, Charles Jenkins of Arriola, Clinton Jenkins of Arizona, Bill Jenkins of Dove Creek, and Ronald Jenkins of Arizona; her sister Josephine Hull of Washington; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, JoAnn Snyder; and her siblings, Hazel Hammock, Frank Hull, Francis Hull and Geverna Haddan. Graveside services for Nellie L. Kesterson, a resident of Salt Lake City and former area resident will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 3 at the Cortez Cemetery. Bill Jenkins will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in Nellie's name to Hospice of Montezuma.
