John William Hannah was born 26 February 1899 in Odessa, Lafayette County MO. He died 29 September 1918 in Brest France just a few days after he arrived from sickness. John was the son of Henry Kennedy & Ella (Laurentine (Connon) Hannah. He had one sister, Anna Mildred born 6 March 1901, a brother Henry Kennedy Jr. born 23 April 1903 and a brother Harry Dalton born 24 June 1905.
