Otha Allen Dolby, aged 57, died at 8 o'clock Thursday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. Minnie Myers, 365 Joe street, after a serious illness of six weeks. He had been in failing health for several years.

Mr. Dolby was born in Lancaster township March 8, 1878, to Christian L and Mary Dolby and was married to Ovilla Fulton, who with three sons and a daughter, survive. The sons are Clarence of Lancaster township and Paul and Walter of Huntington. The daughter is Mrs. Jewel Ehinger, Decatur Ind.

Six grandchildren, a brother and three sisters survive. The sisters are Mrs. Myers, at whose home he died, Mrs. Flora Oden of Huntington township, and Mrs. Jennie Favorite, Wabash county. The brother is Isaac C Dolby , Lancaster township.

Mr.Dolby was taken to the home of a son, Walter, 779 Olinger street, where it will remain until the funeral at 2 o'clock Saturday at the Pleasant Grove church. The Rev. C A Thorn will officiate and interment will be at Lancaster.

Ovilla Dolby, 76, 444 Frederick street, died at 11:50 pm Saturday at the Huntington county hospital after a serious illness since Saturday morning. She was admitted to the hospital Saturday night for observation.

She was born December 10, 1877, in Huntington county, to Francis and Mary Fulton. She married Otha Dolby who died in 1936.

Surviving are three children, Paul F Dolby, Sr., Andrews route two, Walter R. Dolby, Huntington and Mrs. Jewell Ehinger, Decatur; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Florence Smith, Huntington, Mrs. Grace Grove, Marion and Mrs. Elizabeth Fredericks, Tippecanoe Lake. A son, Clarence A and two sisters, Mrs. Viola Winebrenner, and Mrs Prudence Gessman, preceded her in death.

She had been employed by her brother-in-law, Tim Winebrenner, as a housekeeper for the last 10 years. She was a member of the First Evangelical united Brethren church and the Willing Workers class.

The body was removed to the Bailey mortuary where friends may call after 5pm Sunday and where services will be held at 10 am Tuesday with the Rev. Ivan R Woods officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster cemetery.
