Francis Earl Dolby, 85, a resident of Huntington County all his life, died at the Town and Country Manor at 11 pm Monday where he had been a patient for one week. He had been in failing health for a year. His last residence was 534 Mayne St.

He was born Aug. 21, 1886 in Lancaster Township to Samuel and Amanda Dolby and his marriage was to Chloe G Hoke Feb 27 1907 in Huntington. Mrs Dolby died March 19 1970. He was a member of the Central Christian Church.

Surviving are two sons,Dewaine, Huntington and Meredith E Dolby, Saginaw Mich; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Two brothers, Frank and Ora Dolby and a sister, Mrs Mae Ira are deceased.

Friends may call after 7: 30 pm Tuesday at the Robbins Funderal Home where services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday with Rev. David A Rowant officiating. Burial will be in Mt Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Chloe G Dolby, 83, died at 12:55 pm Thursday at her home, 534 Mayne St. A lifelong resident of Huntington County, she had been in failing health for several years.

She was born Jan 22 1887 in Clear Creek Township, to Lincoln and Hartie Stults Hoke. Her marriage was to Francis Earl Dolby on Feb. 27 1907 in Huntington. Mrs. Dolby was a member of the Central CHristian Church.

Surviving are the husband; two sons, Dewaine D of Huntington and Meredith E, Saginaw Mich; four grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a brother Leo Hoke, Marion and a sister Mrs. Burnettus Klem, Chicago Heights, ILL. Four brothers, Home, Carl, Burl and Glen are deceased.

Friends may call at the Robbins Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, with Rev. David A Rowant officiating. Burial will be in Mt Hope Cemetery.
