The Wedding of Ana Lamphrect and Paul Sander - November 15, 1930
The Sander family gathered to celebrate the marriage of Ana Lamphrect and Paul Sander. Paul, born in Glogovat, Hungary was the second son of Sophie Reichert and Michael Sander. Ana Lamphrect was one of twelve children born in Beffendorfh, Germany, a small farming town. She told her daughter, Pauline, that being the mayor's daughter came with some "problems".
If you got into any trouble in school in the morning, your Dad knew about it even before you came home for lunch. Ana and Paul lived with their daughter, Pauline, in College Point. They later moved to Commack, Long Island and eventually retired to Florida.
