ROBINSON-ROBISON

Charity Spencer was born in 1744, daughter of Zachariah Spencer, and she married Job Robinson “somewhere in Maryland about 1760-1765.  By family tradition they had five children upon arrival in North Carolina.   Job applied for a land grant there in 1773.  It seems likely that the Spencer and Robinson families came together to North Carolina.  Children of Job and Charity Robinson were, in approximate order of birth: Ezekiel, Zachariah, Job Fr., Mary Martha, James A., John, William Charity, Amos and Samuel Robinson.  Earliest information as to Charity’s husband Job Robinson is his land record in North Carolina.” [Ref: Information compiled in 1998 by Ray A. Yount, 10031 Shortest Day Road NW, La Vale, MD 21502-6001, or E-Mail:alby6@juno[dot]com.]” [Remove [dot] and replace with . before e-mailing.
